The Honjo International Scholarship Foundation offers a non-repayable monthly stipend to non-Japanese graduate students (Master and PhD) at Japanese universities, for programmes starting in April 2027. The stipend is ¥180,000 to ¥230,000 per month depending on programme length. Applications are online; interviews take place in early February 2027.
